Melanie was born in Plantation, Florida and spent her early childhood years in Broward county before moving overseas and living in Germany, England, and Saudi Arabia. During her 10 years abroad, Melanie was exposed to a variety of cultures, people, and their traditions. These overseas experiences have provided Melanie with a unique opportunity to gain insights into how cultures place value into different aspects of their lives.
While abroad she obtained an International Baccalaureate (IB) degree from Schule Schloss Salem boarding school in Germany. Living overseas has enabled Melanie to learn German fluently as well as a lexical knowledge of French and Italian.
After returning to the United States in 2002, she attended the University of Miami where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in psychology with a minor in business law. She subsequently utilized her psychology degree to administer behavioral therapy to children with autism for over 10 years. By implementing similar tools into their marketing strategies, Melanie is able to understand the consumer base and help market goods and services accordingly.
Melanie’s mantra is Service Above Self which can be seen in the different non-organizations she volunteers for:
- Board Member of the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce
- Board Member of Cultural Arts Creative, Inc.
- Chair of the Opening Weekend for the Cultural Arts Creative, Inc.
